Welcome to
the new look HMS NAIAD website, which is being re-worked after lying dormant for 3 years. The sites main aim is
to locate ex crew of HMS NAIAD, so re-unions can be arranged to renew lost friendships and maybe generate new ones?.
New pages have been loaded, including a gallery of 68 photographs, there will be more content over the coming weeks,
so be sure to check back. If you would like to be kept up to date with any new developments, or receive updates
about possible reunions etc., join the site mailing list. Just fill out your email address in the box below. Your
details will be kept private by hmsnaiad.co.uk and will not be divulged to any third parties.
Previously, the Visitor's Guest Book was the driving force behind
the site and a lot of people made entries. Unfortunately the company hosting it dissolved and all the information
has been lost. This is a great shame and something I had not foreseen. To remedy this I have changed the running
of the book and it will be administered off-line, with all submissions screened before posting for viewing and
the data backed up.
This site is exclusively about Leander Class Frigates, predominantly
HMS NAIAD. To this aim I am seeking help, as I want to build a ships history log, in particular all her deployments.
I have written to Centurion to see of they can help, but if anyone has any information, no matter how small, I
would be grateful for it. Just email info@hmsnaiad.co.uk
The newest and potentially most interesting development is the addition of the
H.M.S. NAIAD Blog, which will allow interaction between visitor's to the blog. This is available now in limited form,
new content will be added during June 2007.
Many thanks
NAIAD Webmaster.
